POTD 2017/343. First Snow

December 9th, 2017 is the day that we got our first snow here in the DC Metro area for the winter 2017-2018 season. Luke Catwalker made a few journeys outside today to experience it firstpaw under supervised release, first as it began this morning and his last run after dark, just before this photograph was taken.

After putting him in I headed out with my camera to photograph our Christmas decorating under with this slight snow cover. Luke hopped up in the window to watch me, and though he was sitting warm and cozy inside, he was really looking longingly out the window wishing he was there with me.
